Magic Caramelised Popcorn
100g butter/marg
125ml brown sugar
60ml golden syrup
pinch of salt
1ml bicarb of soda
1ml caramel essence OR 2.5ml vanilla
-Place butter, sugar, syrup and salt in a mixing bowl.
-Microwave at 100% high for 4 minutes. Stir after 1 minute and 2 minutes.
-Add bicarb and essence.
-Microwave for 1.5 minutes and stir again.
-Microwave for 1 minute and stir before mixing sauce into popcorn
Sauce is enough cover roughly 10 cups of popped popcorn, depending on
how caramelly you want it:-)
